Paintfill

I have already removed the paintfill on my 67's. but there is still some in the corners of the really small letters i used acitone to remove the paint but would it hert the chrome if i let the sit in acitone for like 5 mins to loosin the remaining paint. i know there is other stuff but all i have is acitone and goo gone.

Have you tried using a toothpick?

When I want to remove paint fill, I put on this paint removal jelly type stuff and let it sit for 5-10 min. Then I use a tooth pick to remove it. If I choose to re-do the paint fill a different color, I use acetone to remove the access.

I used a thumb tack and a tooth pick. I would use the jelly but i would have to go into town to get it. i have the acetone. i might just try to use a Qtip and soke the area and try it again. how long should i soak it? It's like it doesnt loosen the corners up enough.

I haven't let acetone soak so I can't really say. Try the Q-tip thing for 3 mins and see what happens.

Acetone should be fine. I did it myself w/o any issues. I think you might even be better off with the Q-tip though because there can be issues with the hosel.
