Wilson staff fg tour v2 irons compared to Srixon 745 and Titleist 714 AP2

Hi everyone I am looking for new irons and am very keen on the Srixon 745 and Titleist 714 AP2,s but have just been offered a set of Wilson staff fg tour v2,s at a bargain price, anyone who has hit all three how would you compare the Wilsons to the other two sets in feel and more importantly forgiveness, any help would be great.

I can't say I've hit the other two, but I currently have a set (can be found in another subforum here) of V2s. They're soft and a great club. Probably one of the most underrated due to brand prescence. Came with aka as Tours as a stock shaft, soft heads, a really great combination. Don't know what deal you've got but if it's too good to pass up snag them for a fraction of the price of either of the others!

Thanks for the quick reply mate I have just started working for a golf shop here in Australia so i have hit the srixon and the Titleist but the wilson rep was in the other day and said he had one set left of the fg tour v2 irons 4-PW and said I could have them for $300 even with my staff discount couldn't get either of the other two sets for anywhere near that price,how forgiving would you say they are.

I have demoed all three several times - all are really nice clubs in the right hands. For me, the V2s were notably less forgiving than either of the other two (the AP2s and the 745s were pretty much a toss up); I saw a several yard additional loss on the V2s for my usual miss just a little towards the toe and the launch was lower as well.
