Going to be in Fountain/Colorado Springs - Course recommendations please

I will be going to be in Fountain/Colorado Springs Sept 10-15 for a wedding and a friend of mine are bringing our clubs with. Unfortunately we only have time to get 1 round in so we're looking for suggestions for the best course for around $100 or less and about 1 hour away or closer. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

If you can get on the Air Force Academy play there for sure! If not, my other favorite courses in CO. Springs was Bear Dance, about 30 minutes north on i25 or 4mile Ranch, about a hour south.

Thanks for the recommendation! I think we'll give Four Mile Ranch a try. Hopefully we'll be able to pay the replay to play 36 holes.

I just noticed your dates, I'll be there next week. NOTE: I haven't played any golf in the Springs since 2009-10, but from what I have read, 4 mile is still a nice track.

Just found out today that Four Mile Ranch has a tournament the day we are planning to play.... So we had to settle for Pine Creek Golf Club in Colorado Springs. Pretty bummed cuz I was looking forward to playing Four Mile
