Charity Golf Tourney at Black Gold Golf Club - Yorba Linda,CA

Come join us for our LASD Transit Policing Division 7th Annual Charity Golf Classic benefiting the Spina Bifida Association of California sponsored by Dura Coat Products Incorporated.

 

The tournament will be held June 20, 2016 at the beautiful Black Gold Golf Club located at 1 Black Gold Dr. Yorba Linda, CA 92886. The format will be a four man scramble with drinks and dinner included.

 

A portion of the proceeds raised at this event will help fund special programs to California residents, providing education and assistance to children and their families whose everyday lives are affected by Spina Bifida.

 

Spina Bifida, or ‘split spine’, is the most commonly occurring, permanently disabling, birth defect in the United States. It affects approximately one out of a thousand newborns in the United States alone. More children have Spina Bifida than have Muscular Dystrophy and Cystic Fibrosis combined. Children born with Spina Bifida experience paralysis and a lifetime of challenges associated with this disability.

Good on you for trying to raise money for a worthy cause. One suggestion though, next year please have it somewhere else, that course is awful. With how many charity tournaments are played in so cal I would wait to spend my money on a charity that played on an enjoyable track. That said I hope you get a good turn out and you raise a ton of money! Good luck!
