Another Great Leupold Experiance

I hang out here a lot but very rarely post. I had to share this experience though. Last year my Leupold GX4i started having issues where it wouldn't retain the settings I put in it. Everything else worked great (as a gx3i) and I was otherwise extremely happy with the product. I contacted Leupold and they suggested sending it in for a repair. A year went by and I finally sent it in with an explanation of what was wrong and the service form filled out stating that I would be willing to pay for any upgrade fees. I figured I'd give it a week after arriving before calling to see how much the repair would cost. Just before calling and exactly 1 week later I heard a knock on the door. It was the UPS guy with a brand new GX4i2. I was shocked. Especially as the original unit was a gift and I didn't even have a receipt. I have heard great things on this site about their service but in no way expected it to be this good. Needless to say I will never consider switching brands (especially with their build quality) and will spread the word as much as possible.

 

A big thanks to Leupold and if anyone is on the fence on which rangefinder to consider I highly recommend them. I can't wait to get out of this Canadian cold and down to Palm Springs next week to try this baby out.
