Hi Golf WRX community,

 

We are excited to be up and running on the Golf WRX forum. To give a quick overview; we produce laser rangefinders and GPS products.

 

We're a small company (5 team members) based out of Cincinnati, OH and our products have been on the market for since 2014. Over the past few years we've steadily grown and are now sold in 600 + golf shops across the country.

I received my Nexus and will post some comments as I use it more...initial yard test seemed to be quick and easy.

Why have 1/10 increment on the display when the accuracy is +/-1 yard?

Nexus is a great rangefinder. Small compact, the ability to turn on and off pinseeker quickly. Very accurate and easy to use. Customer service is top notch. The eyepiece allows user focus, similar to a binocular.

It has been delivered but I won't get it till Monday. Anxious to try it out

So far the unit has been spot on. I use it along with my gps. I use it mostly from 150 and in it give me a better of an idea exactly where the hole is on the green.

The battery life for the GPS Golf Band is 10 hours when on GPS mode and 52 weeks when on watch mode.

So I found an ebayer that was selling the PP GPS store models for $99 & picked one up. It came in two days. I put it in play today & have to say for me it is much better than wearing a full GPS watch. The PP is similar in size to a fitbit which is really nice. I had a golfbuddy watch, but I had quit wearing it because of the size.

 

Some of the likes besides size are:

 

- The "distance" feature was very easy to use

- Found the course & moved from hole to hole pretty quick

- The front, middle, back distances seemed legit.

 

The only negative I had at first was it took me a minute to get the band on until I figured it out.

 

Overall I say it is an excellent product...especially for $99
