watchOS 3 Potential

Was looking at the new Apple watchOS 3 update and it looks like they are giving developers access to the gyroscope and accelerometer on the watch. This can be very exciting as it can open up possibilities for swing analysis apps.

 

My watch is already a great companion to my GPS app (Hole 19). Any developers out there wanna chime in on the possibilities/potential now that the gyroscope and accellerometer are available?

I heard the Apple Watch 2.0 will have its own GPS. Wonder if this is true and when it might come out? Having its own GPS would make Arccos so cool.....seeing I already use a bushnell golf watch. I could get the Apple Watch and have the best of both worlds.
