New from NC

Hey everyone - new guy here from NC.

 

Background:

 

Burnt out on baseball, I decided to try out for the golf team my freshman year of high school and made it (this is a testament to how bad the team as a whole was, not my skill as a golfer). I enjoyed it but decided to finish out high school playing baseball and didn't golf very much again until college. Once in college, I started playing much more frequently and that has continued up until this day.

 

I've always worked on my game and improving it but the real desire started after finally breaking 80 a couple of years ago. I recently committed to a dynamic fitting this year and made my first iron purchase in nearly a decade so the drive to continue improving is more than ever - this has led me to the forum. I'm sure I'll continue lurking and absorbing information right now, but hope to eventually get to know some of you and add value where I can.
