Discovered this site a few years ago and have referred a ton of my golf buddies to it. It is by far the best site for cool pics from weekly tour events, great forums for us techies that want all the inside scoop on golf equipment and great articles about the game. The people on this site are addicted to the game like I am but more importantly are all about helping others improve and get the latest info to make great decisions on their equipment.

First off, I don't post on here too often, but I read a lot!

 

I know I am an insane golf nut that probably needs help in more than one way, but I will just stick with golf for now. I love to read through all the club reviews and see the reactions from the other users. Anytime I consider buying any golf equipment, I like to check it out here first. I don't rely on the main golf magazines for this, as I trust the reviewers and users on this forum, as there are real players on here who can give an honest opinion who aren't get paid to do so.

 

Another reason I love this site, is that it helps pass time for some workdays when I am not that busy. Those days are far and few between, but when I get that free time, on here I will be reading away.

 

I have watched instructional videos, read articles of just about everything golf has to offer on this site and I love it. I am a person who hates to read books, but for some reason, I can spend all day on here just reading the topics and replies to them. Did I mention I was an insane golf nut?

 

Golf has been in my blood since I used to play as a kid with my grandpa before he passed. It helped me go to college through the Evans Scholars program, which is awesome BTW....Become a Par Club member today to help high school kids get a college education.

 

Lastly, because I am getting a phone call here at work and should probably answer it, I just really need a new set to irons. I am playing Nike irons now, and well, they don't make clubs anymore so I need to match my iron brand with my ball brand, which is a Titleist Pro V1x.

I first joined GolfWRX when I was a junior in high school and was looking for information on golf colleges around the country. From that very day this website molded me into what it means to be a golfer. I went to college for golf and eventually became a PGA Professional all thanks to the information found on GolfWRX. I am no longer in the business but I still love the game just as much as I did when it was a career. Very thankful that I found GolfWRX in 2006 because it really did change my life, it steered me to a great university where I studied golf and it gave me a true passion for the game of golf. Ok, so I'm a club addict. I can't wait to see the latest and greatest. GolfWRX is the best place for that. Since I've been a Nike guy for a while, and that is now at an end, I'd really enjoy a new set of Titleist irons to start my non-Nike club journey.
