It started as just a place to get some interesting reviews on basically anything golf related. Then I was drawn to the BST section and like browse what's for sale a few times a day. Now I'm hooked on the deal or no deal forum and the great deals you can find there. I just can't think of anywhere else you can go to get this much golf related content that's so easy to search for.

I like GolfWRX because I feel like I fit in here. Not to sound too nerdy or like a shut in but I can't necessarily talk to any of my coworkers about the stuff in these forums, let alone my wife. Do you think they care about the gaps between my wedges or how many wraps of tape I put under my right hand? No way. People(and by people I mean my wife and family) say I am obsessed with golf. They are right. But since I don't have that much time to play anymore this keeps me connected in a different way.

 

I am not on here because I am a new club ho. I don't necessarily want to own the latest and greatest golf equipment but I damn sure want to know about it. I have learned a lot along the way as well. I basically learned how to repair clubs from this site. I also would not have known about a lot of companies or things like Low Tide Putters and Salty Grips without this forum.

 

I have also come to respect the art of Low-balling. People complain about it but I think it is funny, and yes I do partake in it time to time as well because you just never know when somebody is going to sell you that brand new SM6 with new midsized MCC +4 grip and steelfiber x flex shaft for $50.

 

All in all I love this site. It is my facebook, twitter, instagram or whatever the hell my wife has her face burried in on her phone. I appreciate the folks that seek out the deal on DOND and all the people that take the time to post to the BST. Without you I would have to watch the Bachelor, or Survivor, or freaking Teen Mom and actually pay attention to it.

 

So THANK YOU GOLFWRX for allowing me to nerd out and not judging me for spending an hour trying to modify my Scotty Cameron Big Sur from a long putter to a 33 1/4" putter without throwing off the balance using a clevis pin instead of counterbalance weight to save money and also using the coat hanger trick to remove the grip from another putter without having to cut it off. I have probably wasted more time than it was worth because of your site but to me it was worth it. Thanks again, Sam
