Shot Scope deal

24 rounds on my Shot Scope for the season (clubs are now in the garage for the year) and I have been really impressed. Very easy to use and have spotted a couple of other golfers with it on as well.

 

Takeaways:

 

The good stuff:

• Incredibly easy to use
  
• Great customer service
  
• Collecting the pin position gives you the putting feedback
  

Bad stuff:

• Needs a social side of the website
  
• Full app hasn't been released yet (last email said mid-January)
  

I would definitely recommend it. I have spotted a few really good reviews of the product which match my experience.

 

Reason I wrote all this though, spotted a facebook advert with a shotscope30 code for 30% off if anyone is interested.

 

 

Was talking to a friend the other day and it will be interesting to see how this space develops, I think there is room for a number of players. Arccos and Shot Scope provide different solutions (one a phone in pocket and the other wearing a wristband). GameGolf seems to have old technology in tagging and I am not sure any of the big GPS players have found a steady solution. Anyone got thoughts on this?

 

Also got a Nikon laser in the black friday sales (had an old bushnell) and what a purchase! So much easier to use. Can't recommend the Coolshot 40i enough.
