GPS device that provides favorite/target yardage?

Hey all,

 

I'm not sure how to search for this (I've tried but probably poorly) but I'm wondering if there's a device out there that allows me to specify a favorite or preferred yardage to the green. Say, for example, I want to be 145 yds to the green as a preferred 2nd or 3rd shot and then shows me what club or distance I need to hit to. I realise I could do the math but...I'm terrible at math. I'm pretty sure apps can do this but was wondering if there's a wearable that allows for this.

i still wonder how today's gps watches don't allow the user to customize the layup distances. how hard would it be to allow the option to change the default 150 yd layup to 140 if the user wants. sometimes i wonder if some of these tech companies even have any golfers on staff.

That's a good point. That should be easy to do.

What I always do before I play a round, is a plan of how I want to play the course. I use the app.bebrassie.com software and go in there (it's for free) and create a new round. What I have to do first is choose the course and the tee and then define a target score. I usually put in 18 Pars with 2 Putts per hole and adjust it later. Then go to Visual Edit and move the shot bubbles to the ideal spots. In the table I can see how far I had to hit the ball to travel it to this location and what's the distance for the next shot.

 

Then, when I play the course I just have this plan in my mind and try to focus on that... sometimes it works, sometimes not ;-)

 

But having individual lay ups an a wearable will be great feature...
