Transportation from OTH to Bandon Dunes

I will be heading to Bandon Dunes in July and will be flying into OTH. Has anyone used Yellow Cab for transportation from the airport to Bandon Dunes? Their website indicates $40 total one way ( 4 golfers = $10 per golfer). This would be a ton cheaper than the shuttle options or renting a car.

Aviation Transportation quoted me $65 round trip (not including gratuity) that includes complementary beer and water. That seems cheaper to me.

 

I should caveat that this is for a trip next week, not sure if they adjust their pricing for peak season.

My apologies, just re-read the 4 golfers part at $10 per head or $20 round trip. Seems like a good deal assuming you shipped your clubs separately or if the cab can somehow fit 4 sets of clubs.

have used Aviation Transportation and Connoisseurs Golf Transportation to and from OTH - the resort. Both are reliable.

 

Also used Yellow Cab in Coos Bay / North Bend.

 

If your clubs are being shipped directly to the resort, then Yellow Cab might be adequate. Not sure if they have a van or large vehicle. Cramming four golfers plus the driver in a cab might be tight for the 40 minute trip.

 

If you've got your clubs at OTH or are pressed for time, I'd opt for a shuttle. They are punctual and comfortable (& provide free drinks as bwantland said).

I’ve used Connoisseurs and it was very well done. Especially getting on the shuttle bus and they have Caddyshack playing on the TV, and during the ride to Bandon at least half the guys on the bus were quoting most of the lines before the actor would speak. It was hilarious and a proper start to the Bandon experience.
