You were right. Ended up posting them on eBay for $1999 just to see. Had $875 into them all. Someone offered the BIN price within 24 hours. Sadly these are no longer in my position, but now I have $2k (net $1175) to spend on something new.

 

At the moment, I'm refinishing my 2 LowTide Putters. One will have to go at some point ....

I just scored these heads here on WRX, and found some AltaCB shaft pulls on EBay. I removed the patina except for the cavities for a two-tone look, using a Scotch Brite wheel on a bench grinder. Only shafted 6 to SW. Going in the bag!

Road test today. They are so sweet with these Alta shafts! High, soft landing shots with old school spin.

They deserve to be carried in the classic PING bag.

Nice. As raggal62 said, leaving the cavities alone was a good idea. It's like an interesting new take on a classic design.
