NEWLY REDONE BAG!! ALL NEW CLUBS!!

Ok guys, I changed things up. Everything has changed. I never thought it would, but it did. Here we go:

Driver: The hype is true! The Cobra L4V X is INSANLY LONG!! I have the ProtoPYPE 60-X in it and just hit bombs. I never thought I could hit it longer, but now I hammer this one! And it's so straight too! Effortless fairway finding ability!

Fairway: 08 Callaway FT 15* w/ NV 75-S.
I just need to find the right shaft for it. It's a pretty good fairway wood!!

Hybrid: Titleist 585H 21* w/ Project X 6.0
Of course this one is still here!

Irons: Bridgestone J33 CB's w/ Project X 6.5 4-PW!
Love these! Here to stay for a while!

Wedges: Cleveland CG12 54* & 60* w/ S400's.
-Again, just waiting for the TVD Wedges to come out!

Putter: Scotty Cameron Studio Select! Love it! Newport 2, 35", 330g (for now!)



Bag: PING Vantage All White w/ Black Piping!
-Staff bag was too big and I need to shed some pounds so I'm starting to walk!

Hi, my name is Mike and I USED to be a club ho. I can say 'used to be' because these clubs won't be leaving the bag for a while! Or so I say today....

 

Fairway Woods:

Titleist 906f2 - 15* w/ an Aldila NV 85-X

Cleveland Launcher - 19* w/ a Dynamic Gold X-100 (Possibly to be replaced by a 16* Halo tomorrow...)

B'Stone: The CG12's are amazing! And the irons, here's a little story: I used to have a set w/ PX's and I traded them b/c I wanted some X-Forged irons. Stupid Mistake. I now have them w/ X100's fit to me and they are unreal fantastic!! You should get some. Me and you end up w/ alot of the same stuff in the BST so I know we play kind of the same stuff....You'll LOVE them!!

TM Guy: I don't play very consistent. You can ask him. I don't think my way through the course like I should. I can go one week and shoot in the 70's and then the next time in the 80's. I make stupid mistakes like pulling driver when it's the total wrong choice. I hit the ball a mile. That combo is SICK TO DEATH! I love it. That club will NEVER leave. I can promise anyone that!!

Well, let me clear that up: By not playing consistent I mean I can split a fairway and stick 3 feet from the pin one hole and the play out of my butt the next. I dont understand it. I just don't focus. Plain and simple. It sucks but what can you do. It's all up to me to fix...

No, it's not the T2. The strap is blocking the back of the bag. It's the 10.5 inch Staff Bag.

You're right...the hybrid is on the way and putter was traded. It was used more as a training aid than anything else really. I have a 1.5 Studio Style and a 2 Ball DFX on the way. They are just intermediate clubs until I get a Studio Stainless Newport 2 in my hands. That is another club I used to have and should have never gotten rid of. So, in a way, the HOing is done...I hope...

You're right. It is never done. On that note, the putter is now set. I went back to the old DFX 2 Ball Blade.

Ok, here's the new deal. My new hybrid came in and I love the way it looks. I say that b/c I haven't gotten to hit it yet b/c I'm sidelined w/ back problems for a while. SO, my 3 iron is coming out and the hybrid is staying along w/ the 5 wood. My thinking is different clubs for different situations. The putter is set as well. I'm sneaking in a couple of carpet putts here and there just to make certain that I have THE one. I think it is: Odyssey 2 Ball DFX.

 

So, the bag is SET!! WOOHOO!!!

I just bought a tour set of rac TP MB/CB Combo listed in BST.

The CB are simple plane money irons. Great trajectory and so easy to shape and hit . Tell me more about these irons, since you have used them for a while.

All I can say about the irons is: BUTTER!! They are so smooth it's not funny. They are solid like a muscle back, but have the forgiveness of a cavity back, if that makes any sense. With all the mass in the back like a MB (see pic attached) it lowers the flight like a MB. They are the best of both worlds if you ask me. I just wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of my first set. It was stupid but I'm back to my senses now. Hope this helped!!

wedges, putters & balls are fine.
