Karsten B60 or DelMar 2

What are the similarities and differences?

I checked out the new Karsten series putters in the shop today. I've liked the B60 since I hit and old one my boss had. I really like the Karsten model and almost just bought it today. However, I've looked into the Cameron Del Mar 2 in the past since a guy recommeded it for my stroke. What are the similarities and differences between these two? I'd be happy with the Ping but the DelMar would hold it's value and possibly increase in value. Any opinions?

Anyone know the grams weight of the stainless steel B61. Think I found one I may buy.

I would go with the Ping. If you give me a day or two, I am going to be writing an in depth review on the B60 for BagChatter

 

The gist of it is that for $90, you can't go wrong. I love mine, and you can't beat the price. I sold my $200 Studio Design 1.5 for it, and I pocketed $100 and haven't missed it

 

 

I am going to assume the B61 is going to run light, maybe 330 grams.

I owned a B60 in the cooper and loved it. Got caught up in the Scotty hype and bought, and still play, my newport mil-spec.

 

I did look at the Del Mar 2 and liked its weight, heavier than the B60, but didn't want to spend the 200+ at the time. Wish I still had my B60.

funny this threa pops up, I have had 009's, Circa 6 tours, etc........back in the bag and never felt better, my copper B60 at 34 inches with a gripmaster on it, I dunno if it will ever leave, I could have bought a few Mercedes by now with the money I have spent :clapping:

Thanks guys. I played with my boss today and borrowed his old B60 for the round. I'm going to just get one. I've had 2 Scotty's in the past and neither worked out for me. I made a little money on both but that's really not the point. Having a putter I can roll down the line, control my speed on the long ones put the short ones into the back of the cup, "priceless" I guess, lol. That's how I feel about the B60. I've got a Teardrop rollface and a Kirk Currie #2 that I alternate with now. The TD is better on long putts and the KC2 is better on mid-short putts. I feel like the B60 is a good combination of both those.

 

Now to find one. I have $95 in my Paypal and have been searching for one. Everywhere I go the shipping goes over. Unfortunately I my Paypal is no longer backed by anything. I need to find something to sell for like $3 or find one with free shipping. Any ideas? :clapping:
