I play PX 6.5 and want something thats easier to load (getting older). I tested the AMT White X100 and they are way softter and very easy to load (fitter described AMT X100 as equivilent to X100 SS1) - However, I feel the AMT X100 launch a bit too low. The other options I can try with a fitter include the Rifle 6.5, or the KBS C Taper Lite. If the KBS C taper lite have the same EI (stiffness) profile as the AMT X100, but launch higher, I have a winner.

My 6-Iron SS is 92mph, very late release, and agressive move. Release factor 8 on the Mizuno gizmo.

 

Anyone compared the AMT White x100 vs KBS C Taper x Lite ?

 

Any suggestions made i appreciate are recomendations and I will book a final fitting session to confirm suitability with trackman numbers.

I’ve switch from nippon Modus pro to dynamic gold s300 and I am really enjoy those so far. Definitely not as boarding as some of the other shafts I’ve tried

Modus3 105x sounds interesting (114g), I'll add that to my list to test (sounds like AMT flex profile but higher launching)

I went from DG X100 to Rifle 6.5 to 120gram PX 6.0 in 2007 till July when I switched to i95cw "S" shafts. Before switching though I bought and tested KBS Tour S&X, a set of C-Taper and C-Taper Lite version all of which were too sporadic and didn't have the feel I enjoyed in PX 6.0. Soft-stepping doesn't work for me either due to my quick tempo. If you like PX 6.5 you might consider PX 6.0 a bit easier to load yet just as downrange effective or KBS Tour-V, X-Stiff, or it's tour version (very popular on tour.) Good Luck.

Having played the amt x100 in a set of srixon 785 I recently switched out, though I liked the amt the weight reduction through the set my ballflight was varied from long to short so I switched out. I played with c taper x lites for about a month and they had a higher and constent flight. With your speed you wont have any problems getting elevated.
