Englishman in Orlando

I am taking a well deserved holiday to Orlando from the 5th -20th Jan and i cant WAIT ;)

 

The bread knife (wife) has given me permission to take my clubs and if i am lucky will be able to play 2 or 3 times in the 2 weeks we are there.

 

I am staying in kissimmee

 

Looking over the forum i have seen many good reviews of the OCN courses so will hopefully play there.

 

Any other must play courses?

 

What are the prices like that time of year?

 

Also any one recommend any good places to go with my wife of a night (nightclubs, bars etc)

At the better resort courses that time of year you are definitely looking at from 75 to 125 for the normal greens fees. I would look into playing Shingle Creek, The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club®, Orlando, Grande Lakes, and for the novelty of playing one the pros play it the Magnolia course out at Disney. You should be able to find rates for all of them online and even book some of them as much as 90 days out. Also the weekend before the PGA merchandise show starts there is a huge demo day open to the public on the 12-13th out at OCN. Drop me a PM if you want any other info would be happy to help out.
