Do you remember why you play, or has it been too long? Is it because you've worked too hard to get where you are, or because you love to play the game? Is it because you don't want to let anyone down, or yourself? Somewhere behind the athlete you've become, the hours of practice, the coaches who pushed you, the people who believed in you, and the gallery who cheered for you, is the little boy who picked up a club-who fell in love with the game and never looked back. Play for him.

Kinda corny, but its true. A lot of juniors and players in general are so caught up in making it pro they loose their love of the game. Remember this no matter how far golf takes you.

I love this game... period. From that first time at 17 when I pured a 7 iron 132 yds, to my 3 iron hole in one 2 years later, to my present joy of being able to play with my 9 year old son and 4 year old daughter, this game brings all the joy, competition, and yes sometimes peace and quiet I could ask for.

Plus with my ADHD, this keeps the doc's from putting me on intraveneous Riddlin!!! LMAO.

I've always just found it really fun. I actually started playing because my dad would let me drive the cart.

I actually was going to give up after finshing dead last at a junior open, i had played rubbish for a while and that was the topping on the cake, went home that night and split up with my girlfriend and found out my mum was seriously ill aswell in the same night! Went out the next day with that in mind and those things made me stronger, went out and won, shooting the best round i had ever shot at that point!

Any time im struggling or going through a rough patch, i think back to those couple of days and think its never as bad as that! Thats what keeps me going.......

I love a challenge and when my grandfather introduced me to the game, I couldn't understand why I couldn't get that little ball in the hole...it looks so easy. To this day, 3 years later, I still haven't perfected anything and i love golf for it. It keeps you interested and pushes you to do the best you can.

Golf is the endless pursuit of perfection... thats why I love it.
