@403Golfer  Did you add any weight to the head of the driver or left it as it?

Currently in the process of tinkering with this, but at the moment I’ve added about 7 grams of lead tape. 
 

I previously had a Fly Z driver that I swapped the stock shaft out on and shortened it as well, but I never made any changes weight wise and really enjoyed that driver. 
 

So not sure where I’ll end up on this setup, but I’m liking it currently. I can post a picture of where I’ve added the tape if you’re interested.

I struggle with how much tape/weight i should add when shortening the driver.  was at 44 but not experimenting with 44.25 to get strikes more toward the center.  Currently with the 44.25 i''m at 204G headweight with adapter.

So this is what I originally landed on with the lead tape and to be honest it worked pretty well, this brought the headweight up to 201g no adapter.  

 

But I was still looking to go a bit heavier and luckily I was able to order additional weights via Cobra's customer service over the phone and have those shipped to Canada.

 

As a result I've recently removed the lead tape and replaced the 6g weight with a 14g weight.  The headweight is now at 205g with no adapter and I'm happy with the feel and results.  Swing weight is currently sitting at D3.

Following my original post I continued to tinker with the putter, I even added a TaylorMade TP Soto to the bag for a while, but I recently acquired a putter I have been after for sometime and it's one which I intend to be in the bag for a long time.

 

I was fortunate to pick up this Byron Morgan DH89 from the original owner, it's a raw carbon head with a sight dot for alignment, Pingman grip, 350g headweight, 70 lie, standard loft, 34.75".  Pictures below:
