Swing Help

Alright, I know this will be tough without video, but I will try to get some up within a few days.

 

Anyways, As far as my set up goes.. I feel it is really good and that I have great angles and then from P1 to P2, I get into a perfect position. But then here is where the problem starts...

 

From P2 to P3, I sometimes get it right or other times I get "laid off" in a sense that my club points outside where it should and the transition from P2 to P3 just looks awkward and bad. As a result, I sometimes lose width and get sloppy by collapsing at the top or P4 and also my arms and hands get extremely low and sloppy.

 

Now, this is only happens occasionally, but right now I can't get it to stop. I still hit it well, but not as good as I like. I feel I could hit it a little better, but I think that is caused by downswing at P6 I am coming too much from the inside. So right now to fix that I am working on more of a cp release so I can be more on plane on the way down coming into the ball. My misses are either left or WAY left and i also lose distance when I get "sloppy".

 

I will try to get video up soon, but until then any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried slowing your tempo down a bit...especially starting down?

yes, whenever I slow my backswing down I get into a better position but not as good as I like.
Also, i have been using the MEGSA equipment and the super width producer to fix the problem at the top and that helps a little.

But i am still having trouble from P2 to P3...

For those that don't know what MEGSA is I attached some pics. Mike Bender's all in one toy!!! I would work on tracing a straight plane line with a dowel rod stuck in the butt-end of your grip. I would like to see your swing.

Yeah I will hopefully get a swing up by tomorrow.

I do use dowel rods.
I have seven or 8 of them and I go through P1 to P10 making sure everything is where I want
But when I see my swing on video, It isn't really where i want it.

So i can do it in slow motion with the sticks literally a 100 times a day, but I can't do it in my actual golf swing and it really bothers me! lol

it isn't that "bad"
just not where I want it imop.
