TGC 2019 / SkyTrak questions

Just bought and installed a new SkyTrak simulator, and decided to go with TGC 2019 as the simulator. Have had a lot of experience with E6, and while I've really enjoyed using it, it does have certain limitations which led us to go with TGC instead (notably the dearth of courses, and lack of any real penalties on hitting out of the rough/sand/etc).

That said, it's nearly impossible to understand how to use TGC 2019. It's not intuitive at all. I wanted to start with a few questions if people had any suggestions:

1. When playing locally with a friend, we seem to only be able to add a guest without a separate profile. Can we create two different profiles that we can either use at the same time head to head, or just flip between one or the other depending who is playing?

2. When using Q to scout the hole, we can’t figure out what distance Q is looking at. It looks like you can cycle through clubs and change where it’s scouting, but we can’t show distance to target. Is there another way to scout out the hole and move targets around to see distances to landing areas or hazards? E6 is super easy in this regard.

3. Can we preset how far different clubs are hit (i.e., say that our 8 iron goes 150 yards)? That might help with the Q function, although frankly, I'd much rather be able to have Q show distance to target.

4. Does TGC somehow remember how far clubs are actually hit and then slowly incorporate that over time into your profile and thus club selection?

5. We cannot figure out how to favorite courses that we find.

6. Any recommendations on base settings? And any recommendations on websites or videos that we can see on the basics of TGC?

You'll get the hang of the layout once you use it a few times.

1. It will only save the 1 profile, it will not save anything for a second player.

2. I believe you can move your mouse around the mini map and even click on a spot on the mini map to change your aim spot and see distances. (make sure to exit out of scout view before hitting a shot)

3. You cannot change the preset distances, but the club selection is not needed. That is for the video game version.

4. Changing the club has no effect on the shot unless you are putting.

5. I know when you finish playing a course it gives you the favorite option. I believe there is another way to favorite when you are just searching the courses, but cannot remember off the top of my head.

6. Turn on straight putting in the TGC settings file on your desktop! I also like to set the greens to soft and slow when playing the tour courses to make it more playable. This is done in the game itself after you select the course.
