Ust V2 shaft

so I purchased the Taylormade  Sim driver last year and I added the US T Proforce V2 bright yellow Shaft in the 66 g stiff flex without never hitting that shaft before it turns out it was one of the best chefs I’ve ever had in a driver today but I no longer have that driver I recently purchased the new Titleist TSI3 and saw that there was a new UST proforce V2 in black so I went with the same exact profile the 66 gram Stiff flex both shafts are 3.0 torque 66 grams I was assuming they are both the same exact shaft just in different colors I ordered directly from Taylormade without any instructions so also assumed there was no tipping done to it so after purchasing the new shaft for my Titleist and having my club maker at Pasatiempo  golf club install the adapter I had him butt cut the new shaft a half inch shorter than my Taylormade driver which plays 46” so my playing length on the TSi3 would be 45.5 after receiving the Titleist TSi3 back I noticed it feels whippy compared to the Taylormade and after playing it today it’s definitely more flexy then the sim ...I’m trying to figure out why ??  did Taylormade tip the shaft possibly without me knowing...the shaft in the Sim does look a little wider down by the tip compared to the end of the black V2 looks noticeable slimmer to the eye ...just wondering if anyone has gone from the Yellow V2 to the black V2 and noticed a difference...any help appreciated

@ss113: There’s some discussions on this forum, that mention Taylormade’s standard tip trimming =either 0.5” or 1”? (The latter ie 1” tip trim= seems to be mentioned more frequently!)

It's definitely 1" for TM.

But Titleist tip trims some shafts 1/2".  I don't know if the PF v2 is one of them or not.

Also different head weights and/or head BBGM can effect the performance of the shaft so there could be more going on than just the amount of tip trim.

But to the original question, maybe @UST Mamiya will see this and comment on the question about the shaft.
