Is there no Seattle course conditions thread? 

 

Played the front at West Seattle for the first time today. #1 and #9 were a bit of a muddy mess, but other than that, I really enjoyed it. Greens were excellent for March, at least for what I'm used to at this time of year. There was a big difference between the greens that were shaded vs the ones that had more sun exposure. Some blind tee shots, was thankful for a friend who knew the course and could give me a line off the tee.

 

Generally happy with the round and what I saw of the course. I am definitely looking forward to getting back there.

Was anyone lucky enough to get their ballot drawn for the WA Golf event at Sahalee? 

 

I wasn't one of them.

Also did not get drawn. Did get Masters tickets this year - can't hope for two lotteries at once!

Is Meridian Valley worth the $130 WA Golf wants?

I'd say it depends on the time of year. $130 is half of what you'd pay to play Newcastle in the summer - I'd say yes if you can anticipate good course conditions.

It's for April 29. I'm assuming it's not going to be in top shape.
