Difference between Spalding TP Mills 7 and 8

Hi all,

I'm looking for an 8802/napa style head putter.
I came across fuzzy pics of Spalding TP Mills 7 and 8 but i'd like to know the differences between the two.
Both are similar from pictures, but i'd like to know what the experts have to say on here.
I know the TPM 16 Tour is very similar to the 8802/napa style head.

How do the 7 and 8 compare to one another? and to the 8802/napa head?

I am away from my home PC so I can not post any pictures, but the No. 8 has a slightly wider flange than the No.7 and maybe a slightly different offset. The No. 16 TOUR is the heavier of three that I have currently.
You see pictures of the No.7 & No.16 TOUR on my website on the restoration page. The link is below. There is no No.8 pictured as I have not done any work on it as of yet.
In the Roman Numeral series there are four more that are heel shafted, III, V, IV, and VIII.
Maybe Lamont from AZ. will see this thread as well and give some additional information.

I'm not positive but i think the #8 is actually a chipper. I have seen one and they set up with alot of loft and offset.

It didnt' click until you posted the comment regarding the chipper. Yes, the TPM8 is a chipper. My brother has one that is slated to get the Acid Blues treatment, this weekend.
I'll post pics when I pick it up and when it is finished.
The TPM's are far and away the most fun of any production line putter that has hit the "Tinker-er" market.
Maybe my brother can send me a pic to post or post one, himself.
I'll give him a shout.

after doing some research myself, i have indeed discovered that the Spalding TPM 8 is a "chipper"

I'm desperately looking for a heel-shafted putter from the TPM line.
The Tour 16 and the TPM 7 really caught my eye but are VERY hard to find it seems :'(
I'd prefer those two above the roman numeral versions as the neck seems to be chubbier?

If anyone has one or knows anyone looking to get rid of theirs, please let me know.
