Mizuno wait time?

I hit the HMP at PGASS over the weekend....they were not on the sales floor.  I was told end of the month.

All I did was place an order online and was told it would be 2-3 weeks. Couldn’t believe how fast they arrived. 
 

Maybe it was a mistake and they weren’t supposed to ship yet, not sure.

Cancelled my 223 order this morning. Project LS shaft 6.0 now on backorder. I will go elsewhere. I have been told soo many things (this is the problem not the wait time) I just don't trust them....

I'm in the same boat. If they don't ship my clubs this week, which I'm sure they won't, I will cancel my order too. I'm sick of their lies and excuses. I was so excited when I got fitted for these clubs, but Mizuno has done a great job of curbing that excitement. I may cancel anyways, I don't really want to have anything to do with Mizuno.

Ordered 3 September, delivered 3 October.  Set of JPX 921 HMP, Recoil 95 F4, 5-AW.  Very happy.  I guessed 4 weeks when I ordered them.

Ordered 225 4-gw x100 standard loft, lie and length today.  Said pw heads are out but expected any day.  Estimated ship date is 10/15.  🤞🤞🤞

Welp got a shipping email that the 225 were shipped out. Ordered 225 5-P 8/24. Approximately 6 weeks.

I ordered the 225's along with 3 wedges on 8/24 and they are scheduled to be delivered on Monday the 10th.  Pretty long wait but I'm excited.

I just ordered 6-G in the 225s with Modus 120X from my local shop. They called me 20 minutes later to ask about a grip change approval. With a grip in stock, they said lead time is 2 weeks.

Ordered Pro 225 7-PW, Modus 105S, 2° weak, 2° up, TV360 from Discount Dan's on 9/26.

I'm going to reshaft, so for fastest shipment I ordered the shafts and grips that I thought would be in stock.

 

Scheduled to arrive via FedEx on 10/11 , so 15 days (note, DD requires that orders first have to be shipped from OEM to them in Oregon before then being shipped back to the buyer; so my clubs will have gone all the way across the U.S. twice).

Interesting you mention grip change.  No joke, held in my hand yeserday, a M Craft putter with a Ping pistol grip.  When I inquired, thinking it was used, employee informed me Mizuno was shipping whatever they could.  I'm not buying it!  No way Mizuno puts a competitor grip on their stuff.

I'm also having trouble finding anyone to source Modus wedge line of shafts. Last season everyone had them as an option...now I can't find anyone.

When I say grip change, it was pretty minor.  I requested MCC Black/blue since that's what I've seen on demo clubs from reviewers on youtube, and it was listed as an option on Mizuno's website.  They asked to change it to MCC Black/gray.  That didn't bother me since it's only a color change.

 

Re: Modus wedge shaft.  I got some Edel SMS wedges earlier this year, ordered with Modus 125 wedge shafts.  Their lead time was about 4 weeks, so they must have had stock, or good lead time for them from Nippon.  Just a thought you may want to investigate.

I placed an order for JPX921 Forged 4-PW with Modus 105S on 29th of September and the local rep (in Finland) told me that everything is in stock.

But it still will take 10 to 14 days to assemble everything in Japan and it takes about 3-4 weeks to ship the clubs to Finland

Thanks for the info...figured you meant color or something.  I just don't think Mizuno would use a Ping grip..period.  I'm looking into Edel this week thanks for the info.

So I bit the bullet and placed my order today. 225 5-p with I/O shaft. Reading the posts above about the 225 heads being in stock pushed me over the edge. I’m really hoping Mizuno comes through and I can play a round with these clubs in Mid November for my birthday. “The Waiting is the Hardest Part” - Tom Petty (RIP)

Ordered 225 last week and was shocked to get a tracking number email yesterday.  I knew it was too good to be true.  Turns out they shipped my clubs to another city, state, zip a few hundred miles away.  They are tracking the package down now and hope to find it.  How does that happen?  How can it go to a completely different city state and zip? Seems like it would be hard to do.

Happy to report I received my 225 irons 6-G in two weeks like was estimated  9 days. However, I have to say I’m disappointed in the QC of grip installation. All of them are installed several degrees off center. If I center the logo on the grip, the face is massively closed. Luckily it’s not an Align grip, so no it’s not a huge deal. But it does goof with my love for symmetry. Apparently they don’t use the laser lineup line on the manufacturing floor like they’ve shown in tours on YouTube. That, or someone was in a major rush, or the laser is way off calibration. This is the worst I’ve seen. 
 

Titleist irons disappointed me earlier this year for the same reason, but those were Align so it’s a bigger deal. Callaway was spot on with grip alignment recently.

KBS Tour Lite,  was fit using the Shaft analyzer.   It came out as that and the SteelFiber 80G as the two best fits.  Recoil 95 was thrid. 

 

But I didn't want to spring for SF for a back up set.  I have them in two other sets, so I know they what the do--which is perform for me.   But couldn't pass these up for the price, I may play them until the spring when the forged come out and depending on how I come through the winter with my swing and game, I may go for the Forged with SF at that point.

So just an update. I posted on Oct 10 about placing the order for 225s. I got a shipping confirmation this morning. The clubs are supposed to arrive on Wednesday Oct 19. That means 9 days from order to delivery!! Including weekends! Now I won’t get my hopes up until the clubs are in hand and to spec but this feels like the Mizuno of old. I guess the 225 heads were in stock!
