Root Cause(s) of over the top?

I have been trying to fix my over the top move for years. Recently it has gotten worse and really made my recent rounds and absolute disaster.

Watching video of myself, I can clearly see the over the top movement in my downswing. But trying to pinpoint the root cause has not been easy. Hoping for some insight and maybe something I am not seeing! Any help is much appreciated.

No over the top , but an incorrect  right elbow move in transition 

 

Setup

knees need to be more bent 

You need more hip bend , resulting in angled thighs 

 

At the top your trail elbow is too bent . 

maintain a straighter trail arm for longer in the backswing 

 

During transition your hands and trail elbow move together  at the same speed 

Instead your right elbow needs to move faster than the hands and will cover more distance in early transition . 

You do this by moving your right elbow BOTH down and TOWARDS the TARGET LINE in transition . 
By doing so, your right elbow will be on and in front of your right hip at impact

Patience at the top and in transition is key. The video is already in slow motion, but it seems like you are very quick at the top. Letting the club drop slowly from the top and to the inside will help you neutralize your path. It is a gradual build up of speed that is perceived differently to every golfer.  It has been described as "letting the club fall to the ground" "let the hands/arms fall" each person feels it differently. Looks like you have plenty of space to hack up the ground. Go out and make some divots that point out to the right and find the feels that work.
