Blade Putter Head Weight Question

I have a question regarding the putter head weight in a blade putter.  So, I have two Odyssey White Hot putters (#1 on left and Double WIde on right), both with their red Stroke Lab shaft, and both with a 34" total putter length.

 

I had re-gripped them and before I did, I weighed the putter head + shaft when totally bare (no tape nor 30g counterweight that they each had).  Each of these two putters are supposed to have a 360g putter head per the Callaway/Odyssey website.  But when I weighed them both bare, the #1 had a total assy weight of 435g (making its shaft about 75g) and the Double Wide had a total assy weight of 444g (making its shaft 84g).  I'd guessing the difference is due to the hosel?  I would also assume the swingweights would be similar, but the #1 was significantly lower in that regard (7 points) and the #1 "feels" lighter to me when I putt with it compared to the Double Wide.

 

I guess what I'm wondering, for the #1 blade putter, is the hosel weight typically included in that 360g spec'd weight of the head?  Could that hosel section be roughly 9g which would make each effective shaft identical to the main junction to the head (like the Double Wide) but then the true "head" portion of the #1 is only about 351g?

Bump. I’ve always wondered about this but idk. Hopefully someone can answer this

 

I’m guessing the advertised 75grams SL shaft weight is for a specific length (probably 35”) and then it’ll be slightly less for lengths <35”

 

Maybe the extra steel in the lower section of the double bend weighs more than the hosel of the #1

 

Also worth noting is that Odyssey is pretty notorious for listing incorrect specs on their website for certain putters (I bought a Toulon Chicago earlier this year and they’ve listed wrong specs in terms of offset, toe hang and the weight of the stock interchangeable head-weights. Still a great product but there seems to be communication issues or something between departments). I’ve also read that many of the double-wides have about 15degrees of toe hang, despite being listed as face-balanced

Yes necks are always included in the head weight of a putter. 

 

As for the weight difference it could just be Odyssey having a wider tolerance for total head weight.

Good to know. I know it’s not a ‘neck’, but are double-bends included in the weight at all? Like is a certain section of the double-bend shaft (maybe the lower portion below where it bends) treated as a “hosel/neck” and included in head weight?

No that would be the shaft weight, double bend putters usually have a post/spud neck that is included in the weight.

And I get it may only be a 5-10g difference, but that's kinda what I was getting at.  If the hosel of the blade is part of the head weight, but a double bend goes all the way down to the head of a mallet, then would a 365-370g blade be more "equivalent" to a 360g mallet due to that shorter shaft in the blade??  Assuming total length and grips are equal.
