Mezz-to Mezz max

Has anyone switched from a mezz to a mezz max and liked it? I’m currently using a mezz and love it. Wondering if the max would give me just a bit more stability. Hope it doesn’t mess with my distance feel.

I started with a Mezz and thought a Mezz Max would be even better so I got the Max in the exact same specs. Visually, when they are right next to each other, the Max looks a bit bigger but when not sitting right next to each other, you can’t tell that Max is bigger. Distance control was same with both putters but for some reason I couldn’t get the ball started on my intended start line with the Max (confirmed with Putting Tutor). I tried and tried - spent hours with the Max to get the ball started on my start line but couldn’t do so consistently. I ended up selling the Max to my buddy who loves it. I still have the Mezz but game the DF when it matters and Link when I’m screwing around.

I prefer the size of the original to the max but distance control really was no different for me.

I switched and honestly even though I loved the Mezz and at the time it was my favorite putter I had ever owned I strongly prefer the Max.  The Max looks exactly like what I thought the Mezz was going to look like.  The Mezz is a much more compact shape with a shorter blade length than I was used to, I still loved it for the technology and everything but when the Max came out I ordered one (as well as ordering the heavy version because the Mezz always felt light to me) and have not looked back.  I did recently switch to the 1.L grip on it which is larger and has 3 degrees of forward press and I absolutely love that change as well.
