1958-60 True Temper Pro Fit Shafts same as 1960–64 Spalding Pro Flite Shafts?

I have few sets of late 50s Wilson Staffs that have the True Temper Pro Fit shaft seen on the left.  These shafts were used for 1958-59 Spalding Professionals until 1960 when Spalding went with the Pro Flite shaft seen on the right.  These shafts were used in all Spalding Professional clubs through 1964. 
 

Here I have a ‘59 Model 18 2.5 wood and a ‘60 Model 18 2.5 wood. Different shaft labels but seeing them lined up together I noticed the shaft bands line up perfectly. 
 

Are these the same shafts just relabeled after 1959?

TT Pro Fit wood shafts (other than "L" flex) had uniform 1.5" length steps. Are all the steps the same 1.5" length for the Pro Flight shafts? To me it appears the steps are longer below the grip. Might just be the camera angle.

Thread resurrection and after further comparison.   
I think they are the same shafts…

I have two 4-woods with the same shafts combination - a late 50's Wilson (in persimmon, which is odd...) with a TT Pro Fit in "R" and a Spalding Model 87 of which I don't know the year with a Spalding Pro Flight in "MED".  Both are factory shafts I believe.  They look almost identical although the Pro Fit in the Wilson is consistently 0.003" smaller in diameter through each step which is not much I know but I thought I'd mention it.  Another possible difference is that they appear to have a very slightly different transition tapers between the steps with the Pro Fit being ever so slighty longer.  I might be wrong as I didn't try to measure that but it does look a bit different.  They both have 1-1/2" long steps as per raggal62's comment.

Brilliant I should take a caliper and measure the thickness as well. My updater to this last night was after measuring the step distance per raggal62’s comment as well!
