Anyone with a BOS Misted Aquamarine Putter?

Hi Everyone, I have a Pro Platinum that I bought with the intention of refinishing. I am looking into using BOS Golf since they are local, but their finish pictures aren't the best. Would love to see anyone who has the Misted Aquamarine finish on their putter. I am looking for something with a lighter blue/teal hue, so if you know of any other refinishers with something similar please feel free to share. Thanks in advance.

Someone in this thread posted a pic of a putter they had done in the shiny aquamarine finish.

 

To me, it doesn't seem like what you are after. It's much closer to a black finish than a light blue/teal one. Even the "misted aquamarine" appears to be more of a dark grey than a blue.

That's what I thought might be the case... Was definitely hoping for it to be lighter, but don't want to have to go shiny for it to be close. Open to anyone's suggestions for other finishers if they have something closer.

I think teal would be a tough color to achieve without some sort of coating, and I wouldn't want that on a putter. Maybe it could be done with some sort of torching method?

 

I'm not a metal worker though so really my opinion is probably irrelevant 🤣

 I've always loved the look of fresh blue torch.  How durable are these finishes?

Not saying impossible but I’ve never seen that light of a blue finish. Has your putter had the plating removed?

Nope, all original.

You can't do a finish over plating unless PVD or DLC

I would assume if I was to get it refinished the original finish would have to come off to fix any dings/dents. That's why I was looking at other finishing colors.
