Swing feedback

Recommended Posts

You don’t rotate the hips properly. Left hip moving towards the ball in the backswing instead of right hip back.

Late wrist hinge

Right hip moves towards the ball in the downswing and steep in transom. Have I stall let arms catchup and causing right miss if face is open and pulls when you rotate the hands to square to avoid the block.

Learn to shift pressure and rotate the hips properly and learn to set the wrist properly

I disagree. Backswing looks good. Right hip gets deep and left knee comes out past the toes. Good depth. Only problem is a late, handsy release from a steep shaft. Work on back to target, arms down release. Your swing looks good for a wedge or short iron, but you need more space with a longer club. Its a good swing, it just could be more consistent if you turn later. Just work on a sequence that has a late turn. Try to shift pressure to your lead foot with back to target and release the arms down. This will give you more width and help you square the face earlier so you don't have that handsy rotation at the bottom of the swing. If you start hitting it fat, it means you didn't shift to your lead side early enough.

A good check is if you have the arms way left at the finish. It means your arms working more on an arc around you, rather than coming in steep and working in a linear motion down the line.
