Cobra X Speed

Just got my new Cobra X-Speed in the mail yesterday (LH 8.5*) I must say I was very impressed, it was long, straight (although I did have a little trouble working it right to left). The stock saft seems to be nice, I can't wait to get it out in some better weather... It was cold and soggy here yesterday. The most notable dislike I had was the sound, it didn't matter where on the face you hit it the sound and feel was the same. I like the bit of auditory feeback when you pure it right in the center. Anyways just my 2 cents, as I havn't seen much on this club

I really like what I've seen so far... I'm going to Hawaii for Christmas so it ought to see some good action over there and then I'll be able to give a better review.

Yeah, the XX is supposedly what the Cobra Long Drive team uses. The shaft is 46", and it's for Swing speeds ~115mph I believe.

I am not to surprised to hear good things about this club, i have had a few Cobra Drivers, the 427 SS, 454 SZ, 350 SS Tour, they make a driver that is flat out as long as any driver out, they can be smashed, not always very workable, but if you just want to hit bombs, Cobra can do that.

I agree. There's a lot of people/sites who seem to belittle the Cobra company as only for high handicappers. I've only recently taken out my SZ 3 wood from the bag and I've played their drivers a few times in the past years with great results. The new X Speed is probably the only driver out right now that I'm tempted to buy and test. :dntknw:
