Unhinged Hogan Hints

Still setting rotation in too early but a smidge better than last week.

Virt,

Your right arm is loaded (wound clockwise) at P6 syncing the entire right side to deliver the blow. Then I love how you rotate and drive the handle using the right hand through Pressure Point #1 from P6 to about P7.5 with an extended right wrist . Three right hands with little or no throw … excellent!

It’s amazing the effect that the right arm can have on the downswing and through swing pivots! Can’t see the right forearm/elbow at P4 due the camera angle. Do you think that a little elbow squeeze in transition might let the arms drop (free ride down) and delay the DS pivot a little? Just a thought.

Awesome swing! Getting very close.

Thanks Moe, I think you're right about the right elbow but I think I have to squeeze it in and make a better counter fall because the correct counterfall seems to give the right elbow more room to go down plane. Seems like I can't do one without the other.

Sorry that I wasn’t more descriptive of elbow squeeze. I was dealing with canceled flights trying to return from vacation. 🙄

Coming into P4, if you to squeeze the elbows together the leverage of the right arm holding the club up will diminish and let the club fall and the shaft flatten. The body reacting to the falling club can add to the counterfall. Another way to do it is somewhere in transition feel like you’re making a reverse arm circle with the right arm.

Sorry if I’m being Mr. Obvious! 😂

Ok, I like that...the right elbow move definitely feels up and out slightly during the tranny.
