I tried the 0311P briefly and didn't like them. They just didn't fit.

The STs actually are making for a smooth transition from the old clubs.

I have a blended set 6,7 0311p 8-gw 0317cb

Works great for me. The 0311p are really surprisingly good to me. I knew the 0317 would be butter but the 0311 blends really well.

For me it was on the level of feedback. I got used to the old Adams A1s I had, and they provided a fair amount of feedback on off strikes; even when they went a good distance. The 0311s seemed (at least in limited swings) softer on those strikes.

It was foreign to me. I could have gotten used to it, I'm sure; but I didn't like the idea of buying clubs I'd have to get used to. That isn't to say the 0311s are not quality heads, though.

The fitter recommended the CBs, but I'm a bit stubborn and I felt I could game the STs if not from the start, then in time. I'll never regret it, but I do like to be able to feel the severity of the miss.

Small sample though; just went with my gut instinct.

All fair…I agree, always go with your guy and what you desire to play. Especially since the numbers can be so close. The slight toe shots on the 0311p is really so good. It’s crazy how much speed and launch retention they have on off center strikes.
