Anyone want this? I just saw it pop up and could hold it for a golfwrx member. I don't need anything in return, just good karma.

My friend in queens and local bethpage hoarder said once you release it, bethpage will randomly release it. It’s not exact anymore to stop people from releasing to their friends.

yeah, i've had to cancel a tee time before and it doesn't immediately show up as available

It seems to be within 5 minutes or so. Definitely possible to transfer with little risk of being sniped if you can just be vigilant for 5 minutes.

We have 1:20pm and 3:50pm right now. I am working on getting another tee time that morning somewhere in the area, in which case we'll stick with the 3:50pm. If I can't find a good enough club to play that morning we'll take the 1:20. Backup is Ferry Point at 8:00am, but getting through and to Bethpage for 1:20 would be pretty tight.

Yeah I wouldn’t recommend it.  That’s too tight of a squeeze.  I had to spread out sleepy hollow and tuxedo golf club to separate days cuz I’m not dealing with the unknown that is Long Island traffic.  I’m glad you got your tee time. It’ll be a blast! I haven’t played it in 16 years so it’ll be super nostalgic coming back.  I was a 20+ handicapper back then. Ha!

Ended up making it work, and I am glad we did. My buddy got a hole in one on 17 at Ferry Point... and we made it to Bethpage Black at 1:14 JUST in time to tee off for 1:20. Boy that course plays LONG when it's wet and you get no roll or even come back with driver.

How did u make it to black after the hole

in one???  Id still be at the bar?

My dad lives in NYS  but has no interest in playing the black course. Could he book my brother and I a tee time and we use his name?

No - whoever books as an in state resident has to be there to show ID, and from what they told me has to pay and play the 18.

We actually closed out our match all three ways with the hole in one, so we told the guys to keep the $30 each and go have a few on us.

Even with how much rain we got (it poured our entire drive there) it was great. Really impressed with their drainage. Greens were somehow very firm, but also receptive on the first bounce... if that makes sense? The type of green that's difficult to fix a pitch mark on due to firmness, but also made pitch marks on every approach. 

 

I definitely want to go play it again when it's dry.
