Mizuno MX 25 - What is next step up?

Played Ping i3+ irons for years and most recently started playing Mizuno MX 25. I love the soft feel of these irons. I will keep these clubs for years but like to buy a travel set handy. Keeping within the Mizuno forged iron family what would logically be the next “small step up” in quality of Mizuno forged irons (wish I could hit a blade but no more!). Still want to keep that soft feel (even sacrificing distance not an issue for me). Have no problem playing clubs 20 years old. Thanks!

Are you looking for new or used? 

If you're looking for used, then probably the MP-54 would be the next logical step, as it has the same type of slot design.

If it's new, then you would end up somewhere along the new JPX-923 Forged or something like that perhaps with the longer irons in the bigger headed version of the same

JPX 825 Pro are very similar.  Leading edge relieve and an undercut channel in the long irons, same as MX-25.
