Biloxi This Weekend

Heading to Biloxi to play for the first time this weekend. Playing The Preserve on Friday afternoon, then Grand Bear and Windance on Saturday. Would have loved to played Fallen Oak, but the Casino room rates this weekend were astronomical.

Anyone have any experience on any of these courses?

It's been quite a while, but I've played all three. Windance is fine as a third option if you just want to get one more round in. It's nothing special as far as layout or conditioning goes. It's not bad, it's just sort of average. Unless something weird is going on with the conditions, I'm sure you'll like Grand Bear and Preserve much more than Windance.

I'd say Windance gets a solid C while Grand Bear and Preserve both get a B+

Shame you aren't playing Fallen Oak. It's far and away one of the best courses in that whole gulf coast region.

I played Grand Bear and Fallen Oak back in 2017. Fallen Oak was a better overall "experience" on the property but Grand Bear felt like the more enjoyable layout to me or at least for my game. I don't think you can go wrong with Grand Bear but definitely do Fallen Oak if you make a return trip.

The quick Biloxi weekend trip was a success. I'll be going back early next year, and will definitely be playing Fallen Oak then.

The Preserve was great. Course was in superb condition given our heat and lack of rain down south. Enjoyed the layout as well.

Grand Bear was also great. I kinda felt that the layout was a bit more difficult than the preserve, but still enjoyable. I liked that each hole was its own, and you never saw the hole before or after while playing. Deer were everywhere on the course too.

Windance was a nice surprise as well. Nice little country club course that was a blast to play.

I'll be ready to go back ASAP.
