TS3 vs TS2 3 wood (a bit retro I know)

Bit of a random one this - has anyone got any real comparison between the 2 heads? I know they are a few models old but I don't hit 3 wood all that often and not too fussed about spending big to pick up a TSR fairway when these models are just about as good..

I have the TS3 head, have experimented with a few different shafts and although I like my current gamer, I just feel like the TS3 head might not be quite as forgiving as what I would like. I mainly hit 3 wood off the tee, although I am decent enough off the deck if needed.

I guess i'm curious about overall forgiveness and that the 2 isn't far behind the 3 in terms of distance off the tee. I enjoy the 2 shape in the woods, something just feels a bit off about the TS3 head and I can't figure out what. For info I have also tried different weights within the head too. Can pick up the TS2 head fairly cheap, much cheaper than a TSR fairway head.

TS2 performed better overall. At least for me anyway. The TS2 was a lot more forgiving and easier to hit and get the ball in the air. The TS3 did have a little more juice to it on center hits between the two heads but on off center the TS2 performed much better and thus the overall average distance between the two went to the TS2

I have ended up with a ts2 3 wood and a ts3 5 wood. For a while I just went driver/5w and the ts3 seemed like a more versatile club overall for off the tee and deck. I hit both great but my only issue is the ts3 doesn't spin quite as much and ends up a little too close to the ts2 15* for my taste. The difference in forgiveness isn't that noticeable for me just launch and spin.

If I had to do it over again I would have gone ts3 13.5 with a slightly higher launching/spinning shaft and a ts2 5w. That being said I don't think buying another ts club is the best option at 3w as the newer stuff is significantly better, especially on longer clubs that you might not strike as consistently.
