Project Putter: Custom Scotty Super Select

Got excited about making a special "White-out" Super Select. Was hoping to finish during the holiday season but finally got it done lately. Thought I'll share with people the work

 

• Original putter was a Super Select Newport 1.0 34"
• Obtained a used BGT Tour Stability Polar White shaft and wanted to make a "matching" putter
• Stripped all the original paint with acetone, and used Amazon-bought golf club paint fill to finish
• Took me 3 runs (paint-strip-paint-strip etc.) to finally get the circle area right
• Used the same paint to cover the "over sanded" portion on the tip of the shaft and it comes out quite okay IMO
• Overall proved that it's not that crazy to do this small level of customization at home! Hope everyone enjoys this
• Also went to the local shop to bend the putter to my spec - will use it as a spare and practice putter of my gamer!
