Best small GPS?

I have an older version Golf Buddy talk that can probably be upgraded.  I don't think it's the most accurate.  It's probably almost 10 years old I am guessing.

 

So I am looking at the Garmin Approach G12, Bushnell, and few others.  The Garmin G30 is more money, but not sure if it's worth it.

 

I just want something pocket sized.  I don't want a watch.  I also don't want to have to pay for any subscription.

 

The Garmin intrigues me because it's got 30 hour battery life.  

 

So what do you guys recommend for small size and more importantly, accuracy.  I really just need to know how far hazards are and distance to pin.

I’ll be following this as no matter how many times I’ve tired I have never liked or have gotten used to wearing watches.
 

Right now my short list is the Garmin G12, Shotscope H4, and Bushnell Phantom 2. But looking forward to see what others have to say to help you out.

 I own only the phantom. It’s been great most of the time.  It did get weird on the last two holes of a recent round. All of a sudden it was reading 20 yards over. Weird.
 

otherwise it’s easy to use and has been accurate .

Yeah, I'm probably leaning towards the G12.  I just like the way it looks.  I noticed they haven't upgraded since 2021 so wondering if a newer version is on the horizon.

Just saw in another thread that Bushnell is releasing the Phantom 3 in a couple months.  I'm going to wait and get that when it comes out.

I use the G12 and I really like it.  I don't like a watch when I play and it fits in my pocket.  There's also room to loop a carabiner through it if you want to hang it on your bag.  I find it as accurate as my rangefinder.

I was set on the G12 but the upcoming Phantom 3 will have slope.  So I am going to wait for that one instead.

I am cross shopping the exact same 3 units.  G12, Phantom2, H4

 

I used to own a Garmin S10 watch years ago and i loved that thing.  Over time I had a wrist injury and stopped wearing a watch while golfing.  Im always going to reach for the rangefinder first but theres a lot of instances where I missed having the small GPS unit.  

With the new Bushnell coming out later this year its making it even more difficult to choose.

I just purchased the Blue Tees Ringer.  I was going to wait for the Phantom 3 but I really like the display and touchscreen of the Blue Tees GPS.  I haven't tried it on the course yet though.
