What is causing my flip?

Hi everyone. First post on here in about 15 years! Have always struggled eith a huge flip and have never managed to fix it for good. 

 

Can anyone see the root cause of my flippage? All feedback is much appreciated thanks.

 

P.s. Im also.currebtly working on taking the club back on the inside, so im aware that it may be a little too far in here .

This looks like a fairly good delivery position - and you appear to have some trail wrist extension at impact. Looks a bit crowded though - more space between hip and elbow should improve things.

Let me preface this by saying I am not an instructor, nor do I play one on TV.  But as you start the downswing, it looks like your hands move closer to the ball which steepens things as you come down. Then it looks like your right hip is invading the space where your hands should be occupying in the downswing causing a crowded situation, because of this and the steepening that was created at the top, you have to raise the handle to make room to get the hands through and this opens the face, your flip is the brains effort to square the face. Usually this crowding causes early extension, which is the compensatory mechanism just to hit the ball, but you don't do that, your compensation is the flip. But overall, I think you have a nice looking swing and it wouldn't take much to tidy it up a bit.
