VA Nemesys shaft

Just curious if any one is currently playing, or has played this shaft in a driver. I currently play the ping alta cb 55 s in my g430 max. it has done quite well. it has beat out hzrdus red rdx, evenflow riptide cb, and a diamana zf. I know, if it ain't broke don't fix it! I just keep thinking, if a little ole stock shaft does this well, what about an after market shaft!. I like the feel of a counter balanced shaft, and the nemesys has peaked my curiosity, after all the good reviews iv's read about it. Thanks!

I used to play this shaft a few years ago. I liked it a lot and if you like counter balanced then you should enjoy it.

I played it in a G410 LST and now it is in my Stealth 2 (6s model).  It has been a great shaft and I can’t find anything that can be it out (for Terence, playing a TR red in 3 wood and Ventus Red in 7w, but couldn’t find a Ventus to be out the Nemesys in the driver.

Would you say the nemesys plays true to flex. trying to decide on the 5 or 6 model. 90-93swing speed. Thanks

Yeah, I think so.  I am 100-105 and in the 6s.  You should email them as they helped me choose flex without trying.

I picked a used one up (65 four), have it in my G410 Plus. I find it feels and performs a bit better than the tensei orange (60s) that came stock when I bought it years ago. My perception is that the Nemesys is stiffer than the stock tensei was.

 

I have the alta cb in my g430 3w, 7w and 5h and like that shaft in the shorter clubs.

Driver ss is 100-105.

I agree, it is definitely stiffer than the stock orange tensei

I'm about 94.  I've got it in the 55 four.  Handles everything I try with it, hard or soft.  Best CB shaft on the market today.

My swing is 100-102 and I had the 6 so maybe go with the 5.

I was thinking the 5 regular, since most people are saying its stiffer than the orange. I thought the orange was a little stiff when I tried it.

Given how the butt is designed, how do you butt trim these for a shorter shaft without messing it up? Supposedly tungsten is in the butt end, right??

I believe the tungsten is actually built into the side walls of the shafts so shouldn’t be any different butt trimming vs any other shaft

The reviews make it sound like it’s a plug our something like in a stroke lab.

Does this play tru to flex, soft? 
 

any comparisons against a hazardous yellow or blue??

Definitely not a plug of any sort I think the better word I should have used is “infused” into the side wall material. Very much a normal shaft to cut with no problem. I can only compare it to the CB riptide and the VA is so much better imo. I would say true to flex on your other question. 
 

Bought one for my dad 55 Reg and he swings around 88-91 mph and it’s best he’s ever drove the ball. I used the 55 Stiff (94-98 mph) and it’s my favorite shaft. Have a G430 10k coming to plug it into here soon.

I have this shaft for my 430LST. It’s a good shaft that feels a little firmer than the flex. I use the CK Pro Orange bc it feels better to me but the results are similar to the Nemesys. I’m also not fond of the paint scheme.

I have a nemesys 65 x coming into a g430 max 10k coming up. d6 swing weight. Haven’t tried it with the nemesys but had great success with hzrdus yellow in the past and tensei orange. My fitter told me I’d be in a better fit with a high launching CB shaft and I wanted to try this nemesys since it’s launch. 
 

For all those that say they feel firmer to flex … I tried PING’s tour chrome shaft in 65x, have around a 107mph swing and rather quick tempo and it was a good fit. 
 

Now you guys saying it’s firmer to flex are making me wondering if I should order an S flex instead.

I have the 55 four on stock 10k head at 44.75 and the swight weight is C8. Try adding weight to make it D0 but didnt swing it as well
