Cult classics! V Steel 3W w/Proforce V2, stripped Maltby DBM wedges

1. TaylorMade V Steel 3W with UST Mamiya Proforce V2 7F5 (76g X) shaft

This cult classic fairway is paired with a cult classic shaft to make the best graphite shaft fairway wood I’ve ever played (I’ve moved on to old school steel because I’m weird). The head shows normal cosmetic wear for its age and is a pleasure to hit. Neutral launch characteristics, lightly used Star Sidewinder grip, playing 42 1/2” and D2 swing weight. $100.

 

2. Maltby DBM Forged gap wedge (bent to 51*) with Ben Hogan Apex 4 (115g S) wedge shaft

Classic cavity back “11 iron” built with a wedge shaft harvested from a set of 1999 Hogan Apex blades. I stripped the black DBM finish with vinegar and lemon juice to leave this sort-of-raw finish that is very cool and unique. $30 or $50 if paired with below. SOLD

 

3. Maltby Tour Grind MG 60* wedge with Dynamic Gold S200 wedge shaft

This wedge was also stripped with vinegar and lemon juice. It is a curious wedge with a sharper leading edge that also plays incredibly well out of the sand. I really like this wedge but I like the Maltby TSW family a little bit more. $30 or $50 with above. SOLD
