Teachers in Oregon

Need some help with my siwng

I live in Portland, OR and am looking for a teacher to get some help with my swing. I am about a 7 handicap now after playing on the mini tours in the mid 90's. I have taken a few years off from playing too much, and my job and the family.

My recommendation would be Jim Wilkinson at Langdon Farms. He was the 2007 PNWGA Teacher of the Year and used to be an exempt player on the Senior Tour.

 

He spends the winter teaching in La Quinta, California. He will be back up in PDX in early May.

If you are looking for a year-round instructor, I've heard good things about Chris Smith at Pumpkin Ridge, but I've never actually taken a lesson from him.

I have taught with Jerry Mowlds, Bruce Furman, and Chris Smith at the Jim Mclean golf school at PGA West in La Quinta. All three of them teach at Pumkin Ridge in the summer time. They are all great teachers, but IMO Jerry is one of the best teachers in the world..
