I have a 9* LDF that needs a shaft

Long story but I got a REALLY good deal on a Cobra head. I dont know how it came to be shaftless but it is. The guy at the shop guaranteed me in writing it was in perfect working order. I am lost on where to start on a shaft. Right now I hit the same head in 10.5* My ball flights tends to average a little higher than I would like. SS about 97-100. My misses are either high pushes or low hooks...mostly high pushes. Any ideas where to start for a shaft? I will also probably cut it to 44. I dont mind dropping $150 or so for a shaft if it has a good chance of working.

Also I am real new to the whole reshafting deal...isnt it kind of an educated guess?

I cruised all the local shops looking for a used LDF with different shafts that I could hit. NOTHING but stock...

 

Any ideas? I know I should be patient but I want to get this baby rigged up. I did hit my current driver on launch and my swing speed was 101-107...a little higher than I had thought. Thanks in advance for some ideas.

Give us some examples of what you've hit and liked as well as swing info. check joe's sticky at the top to get a of what info to provide. your idea of 44" shaft is probably a good one....would have to have it tested to see.
