New Putter for Angenend

which should i get

I have a Ping G2i Anser putter. I like the feel, and it's brand new, but i'm not putting too well with it. I'm TRYING to stay within Ping. I was thinking about the G2 Tess. I may also buy a G2i Craz-E. Any thoughts?

I just picked up a futura phantom (big ugly one) and it just wants to roll the ball straight. I love the huge sightline also. :cheesy:

Ping? Isn't that some sort of signal sent from some source to your pc, to see if your pc's receiving or something like that? Actually Ping putters are pretty good putters, maybe you need to do something as simple as change the length, correct the lie and maybe check the loft. Unless of course, you've got a pocket full of money and want change in the bag. :)

You could always get one of those Bettinardi's like beruo's, that's sic. You would have to have them twist the head so the face is going the other way. :cheesy:

I was impressed with the G5 Craze- E. The new insert is better and rolls well.

Josh, Josh, Josh, Josh, Josh, Josh, Josh. If your mother and I have told you once, we've told you a thousand times. Play what works best for you, not because of what is stamped in the cavity! :cheesy:

Half joking there, but seriously try to keep yourself from limiting yourself--especially with the putter (or wedges, but we'll stick with putters for now). If you do want to stick with Ping, definitely look outside their current line-up. If the craz-e suits your eye then. . .um . . . great, :) but your other two choices (tess, anser) show a more conservative trend. I personally really don't like the modifications made in the G2 (nevermind the butt-ugly G5) series, not to mention the . "Cleaning up" the lines has taken away mucho of their character. Look under Ping's classics to see if their are other putters you may like. You can still get them either through your local Ping dealer, or through Pingken. Ebay is a great place to pick up used pings--especially if you like the slightly heavier and softer feel to the BeCu's and BeNi's, and other discontinued models. Pickin's are a little slimmer on quality finds, but can be had at 2nd swings and play it agains.

Good luck, after only getting a full bag of sticks last week, we all know you deserve another putter to boot. :wave:

btw, nothing but love for Pings--here's what's left of my Ping line-up. Just have found there might be something more suited to me.

Nice set up of Pings there Beruo. I used the pixel one for about a year. You need to get a JAS in that collection. I always thought the JAS was the best feeling of all the newer Ping Ansers.

Thanks, I've thought about getting a JAS a couple times but after I got my Bett I stopped buying putters. Okay, I stopped buying premium putters. Okay, nevermind--I'm just looking at production putters less than I have. STOP LOOKING AT ME! :birthday:

I used to have a few more, but donated a couple pings to better places. I only need to get a BeCu Scottsdale, then I'll be happy. :birthday:
