dont have a putter in the bag right now, sold my cameron.i am waiting on the byron. been almost 3 monthes now, i had to have the mystic pearl finish. should only be a few more weeks.the handmade putter i milled will be here next week and i will rotate depending on green speed

How are you finding the Chikara wedge and how tough/easy are the Miuras to hit for you?

i find the miuras fairly easy to hit, 3 iron was tough to hit, decided to go with something more forgiving but still like an iron so i got the epon 901, and its been the best hybrid i have ever hit. the 4 and 5 iron are very workable but a little easier to hit than a blade. 6-pw i find very easy to work with many shot options. i am amuzed by the feel of hitting the 7 iron.

 

chikara wedge is very verstile. the grind allows to to get clean contact which results in spin. i also find the shot shape great, you can hit a low runner which checks up and stops, or a high pitch that sticks. or you can go with no spin at all. i have a smoked true temper and a red and black winn grip which looks very good. going to change the paintfill to orange and put an orane iomic on it though.

I really like the look of that Epon Af-901 hybrid. did you try any other "iron like" hybrids before you decided on the Epon? It is somewhat similar in concept to the Mizuno MP fli hi's, for example. On this site, their seems to be a consensus that the Miz MP Fli Hi hybrids look good but are not very easy to hit .

 

I would be interested to know what other hybrids you considered?

didnt consider any others, always liked epon , never really liked hybrids because of how they set up. so i hit this one and really liked it. i stumbled upon one for a good deal on ebay and pulled the trigger. this ones topline isnt huge, but the back cavity where it cuts out sticks and makes it for easy alignment. has some offset and fairly thick sole. forgivness of a hybrid, acuaracy and look of an iron

i have some pics of the handmade that i milled. the byron i ordered in october and is going to be here today or tommorow. i am pretty happy about it coming. i will take pics of both my putters. and when i get a nice day my whole bag. its amazing what sunlight can do for your pictures

haha no i had a collection of die cast cars i sold , people over pay for those things. sold one car for 100 dollars. and i was buying scotty camerons off craiglist for under 100, getting them refinished and then selling them again
