Who can bend my FT-5 TH?

It is 1.5* open and I want it square, who can do that?

I would not mess around with this head if i were you. The carbon fiber part will crack so easy under pressure during bending, plus it requires heating up the hosel to be able to bend titanium safely...But the bonding between titanium and carbon will be in jeopardy.

 

MOLD would be the best way to do it. I would love to see if the tour dept have mold for this head, but i doubt it as not to many pro play it. This is why they build this at 1.5* open face already for that reason. Plus they probably would say the same, or the operators don't care how many is gonna crack.

 

Again, IMO No one should mess around with this head unless money is no object to them. Honestly, it won't matter how expert you are in clubmaking or modification...NOT ON THIS HEAD IF YOU DON"T WANT TO SEE ANY DAMAGE. I would love to watch them do it with my bare eyes if they think they could. :clapping: NO body understand how hard to bend titanium head without making any damage or at least bending mark and heat mark.

BTW, Here is the pictures of the heated hosel result when they bend the hosel.

 

Do you thing the carbon fiber part will stand this much heat?

 

BTW, I just installed 3 of MP600 bend hosel tour issue...none of them can make the shafts sit all the way in anymore. I have to ream it straight again to be able to put the shaft all the way in.

Are we are talking about a Callaway FT-5 that does not have a hosel to bend? Am I missing something? The only way I can see closing that head is to purchacse a clock ferrule from Golfsmith http://www.golfsmith.com/products/297261 and a .335 shaft.

this is very interesting. has anyone done this? looks like it would flimsy gluing plastic inside the hosel.

Wow, A callaway driver with a hosel. I guess TH means Tour Hosel or something along those lines?
