Hot melted???

Hello everyone, can anyone explain to me what hot melting is? What is the point and purpose? Also where is this service available, and what's it cost? Thank you!!!-

Process of taking a "hot glue stick" made for swing weighting a golf club. It is heated up in a glue gun(stick version) or pot version and injects HOT liquid glue into the head a a driver. Say for instance Joe Pro wants his drivercut to 44" from 45"and swing weight is a D3(how heavy the end of the club feels while holding it) Now that the driver is cut it will swing weight at C7 (feels very light now) loss of 6 points on the scale. Bummer....now to get the weight back up, alot of drivers have a black hole on the sole of the driver ie..905R between the red arrows that you can pump Hot Melt or Rattle stop into to get the weight back up. That 1" = 6 points or 12 grams of hot melt. Pump it in the head and swing weight comes back up to D3 and The club head will have a muted "twack" sound to it. Most tour clubs are built on the van and swing weighted this way. The only issue you run into is adding weight to the head will soften the flex of the shaft..not sure the gram ratio is and how much it will soften the flex. This is when you will hear someone tip the shaft so the flex will play truer due to the added weight.
